Our Affirmation of FAITH

We believe in the Father, who is God Almighty; the Creator of all things; the sustainer of light and life. (Isaiah 43:10-11)

 

We believe in the Son, who is Jesus Christ, God’s only Begotten Son. He was human and divine; truly lived, suffered and died; rose again from the dead, ascended on High and is coming again. (Luke 1:31, 35; 1 Peter 3:18)

We believe in the Holy Ghost who was sent from God the Father and the Son. We believe that the Holy Ghost is the active Messenger of the Godhead, keeping the line of communication open between man and God. (Acts 13:4; Joel 2:28)

We believe in the two definite works of grace. Conversion is the first work of grace and the foundation of our salvation. Sanctification being the cleansing act of the blood of Jesus; that work that sets the believer apart as a vessel unto Honor to be used by God.

We believe in the baptism of the Holy Ghost; with three initial signs as evidence of this gift of God; power, tongues and the fruit of the Spirit being exemplified in the life of believer. (Ephesians 1:7; 1 Corinthians 6:11; Roman 8:5; Phil 2:12)

We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God. That in the Bible, God seeks to reveal His will to man and man seeks to respond to God’s Revelation. We believe that the union of the Father, Son and Holy Ghost is revealed through His church; That all believers are united into one body, the Church. (1 Peter 1:21)

We believe that Christ is coming back for His Church without spot or wrinkle, that it should be without any such thing; that without holiness in

Spirit, Soul, and Body, no man shall see the Lord. (Isaiah 53:5; Ephesians 5:27; 2 Peter 3:14)
